MARY'S MEALS.....CLOTHING COLLECTION

Mary's Meals' would like to convey their sincere thanks to all parishioners for their generosity. There was 452 bags contributed which raised £2,386.76. This support will give children both an education, daily food and a chance to escape poverty.

ZUMBA

Classes are held in the Church Hall every Sunday and Tuesday evenings at 6pm until 7pm. Everyone welcome.

CATHOLIC PAPERS

You can pick up the papers......including July edition of the Flourish, 60p, at the Church after Sunday Masses.

ARCHDIOCESE OF GLASGOW......ARTS PROJECT

AGAP Film and Faith club is showing "Millions" on Thursday 2nd August 2012 at St Michaels Hall, 1350 Gallowgate. Free film, tea & coffee and good post-film chat.

YEAR OF FAITH 2012-2013

Is an opportunity to search for meaning and truth. May the forthcoming Year of Faith be an occasion to increase unity in our parishes and communities.

GIFT AID

Through the Gift Aid Scheme our parish received the return of £10,004.87. Many thanks to all our parishioners who are able to donate. If you are a tax payer and would like to donate please speak to Fr. Frank or Joe Aitken.

PRAYER FOR MARY'S MEALS

Our Father, give us this day our daily bread

and forgive us for the times we take more

than our share of the bread that belongs to all.

Let us help you fill the starving with good things

and not with the scraps from our table.

Teach us how to share what is not ours to keep.

Cloth us with your love that we may complete

each good work you created us to do.

Place in our hearts your compassion for each starving

child and use our little acts of love so that they

starve no more, Amen.
